Welcome to my personal website.
My current research is directed to understand the fundaments behind the robust phenomena in nature, in particular, I am interested in to know how dissipative structures emerge in spatially-extended systems, as well as their very rich dynamical behavior (motion, oscillations, chaos, spatiotemporal chaos, intermittency, synchronization among many others). I am interested too in the modeling of such robust phenomena through PDEs, ODEs, CML, and Dynamical Systems coupled in Networks. In mathematics, I have also interest in several topics related to graph theory, dynamical systems, probability, and statistics. In computer science, I am an enthusiast in the art of computer programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and algorithms in general.
About Me
I carried out my undergraduate studies at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Zulia (Venezuela), where I got my bachelor’s degree in 2010, presenting the thesis Dynamics of Hyperbolic Sets.
During the period between 9/12 and 9/14, I worked at the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research at Stochastic Dynamics Lab. as P.A.I. (Professional Associated) in problems related to data mining of biological networks and in particular, I developed my master’s thesis there. I got my master’s degree in 2014 presenting the thesis entitled Community Detection in Complex Networks.
During the period between 9/14 and 3/15, I worked at the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research at Nonlinear Dynamics and Complex Systems Lab., studying and designing centrality measures for complex networks.
In April 2015 I began my Ph.D. studies at the Department of Physics of the University of Chile (in Santiago, Chile) in the field of Nonlinear Physics and Robust Phenomena. I am currently working on several problems related to the propagation mechanism in particle-like solution (fronts, dissipative solitons, patterns, etc.) in out-of-equilibrium systems under the direction of professor Marcel G. Clerc.
During the first semester of 2018, I realize an internship at the department of physics of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium, under the direction of professor Mustapha Tlidi, focused on the theoretical study of nonvariational phenomena in patterns. Then I continue with a second internship at the Universidad da Coruña in Spain, under the direction of the professors Susana Ladra and Oscar Pedreira, focused on the design and implementation of algorithms for data processing/mining.
In the first semester of 2019, I start to work in Zenta, a Chilean IT consulting company, and get several cloud certifications (Google and AWS), and participate in a lot of interesting consulting projects fron innovation and data. In 2021 I look for an interesting opportunity in Axity, an international IT consulting company centered in México as a data architect, taking more experience in data architecture and improving my GCP skills. Finally, closing 2021, I got my Ph.D. Degree in Sciences (Physics) and start in the top 1 consulting company in IT, namely Accenture, where I am currently enjoying the interesting adventure of being a consultor.
